Hey! I’m Loren, aka DJ Too Much. I’ve had the pleasure of working with international artists like Pharrell, Monica, Vic Mensa, and legends like Rev Run from Run DMC, Sinbad, and Cedric The Entertainer.
It took me years to be featured in Bridal Magazine & Munaluchi and even longer to DJ major events like New York Fashion Week, New York City Wine & Food Festival, and Pharrell’s Black Ambition Prize.

For DJs who want to sharpen their skills, build their brand, and start booking real, paid gigs.
This challenge will change the way you DJ—for real. In just 5 days, you’ll learn how to mix more confidently, improve your transitions, organize your music like a pro, and start showing up online in a way that gets you noticed and booked.
DAY 1: Tune & Beat Roadblocks
We kick off with an orientation to familiarize you with the structure of the challenge. You’ll get an overview of the five roadblocks we’ll tackle and learn how the daily assignments work. Each day, you’ll receive specific DJ assignments to help you practice and apply what you’ve learned. You’ll be able to submit your mixes daily, and we’ll go over how to approach these assignments to maximize your growth.
DAY 2: Magician Roadblock
On Day 2, we tackle two major areas: music and equipment. Learn how to manage and organize your music collection, including using DJ Record Pools, creating playlists, organizing crates, and downloading music from YouTube. We’ll also cover how to use platforms like Spotify or Tidal. For the Beat Roadblock, we’ll discuss selecting the right DJ equipment and how to use it properly to elevate your sets.
DAY3: Stage Roadblock
Day 3 is all about marketing yourself as a DJ. We’ll dive into social media strategies that amplify your DJ brand and get you noticed by a wider audience. You’ll learn practical techniques to stand out in a crowded market and how to effectively market yourself to land bigger gigs and build a following.
DAY 4: Artist Roadblock
On Day 4, we focus on the business side of DJing. Learn how to charge correctly for gigs using a DJ Pricing Sheet, manage contracts, and handle booking gigs like a pro. You’ll gain access to contract templates and understand how to take deposits efficiently, setting yourself up as a professional artist.
DAY 5: Review of All 5 Roadblocks
We wrap up the challenge by reviewing everything you’ve learned about the 5 roadblocks—Magician, Tune, Beat, Stage, and Artist. This day is designed to reinforce your understanding and ensure you’re ready to overcome any challenges in your DJ career moving forward.

Do I have to be on camera?
You don’t have to be on camera, but why wouldn't you want to be? Being on camera helps build your DJ brand, social media presence, and also helps you to attract REAL CLIENTS, who want to work with you.
Do I need a fancy camera
Nope! We'll primarily use your phone to create all videos. If you have a fancy camera, feel free to use it, but it's not required.
What if I’ve been DJ’ing for years
Even if you’ve been DJ’ing for a long time, the 5 Day DJ Challenge is a great way for you to connect with other DJ’s, and to test your skills. You will meet DJ’s from all over the world who are also working on their mixes. You’ll get feedback, and enhance your skills. As DJ’s we should never stop improving our skills. You have to stay relevant 😉
What if I’m a brand NEW DJ?
If you’re a brand new DJ, and have only been mixing for a short period of time, this 5 Day DJ Challenge is a great way for you to master your skills. (Also, read above)
Do I need to dance or act silly in my videos?
Absolutely not. In fact, I encourage you to avoid those types of videos.
What if I can’t be there live?
If you can’t attend live, don’t worry! By signing up for the VIP Package, you’ll automatically receive daily recordings of each session, so you can catch up at your convenience and never miss out on any valuable content. Secure your spot at the VIP level to ensure you stay fully engaged with the challenge, no matter your schedule.
Will this work for me and my DJ Brand?
